9 Stoner Movies to Watch During the Month of 4/20

These movies should all be watched after generous consumption of mota, bud, cheeba, dank, chronic, fire, pakalolo, kaya, loud, ganja, or however you want to refer to the burning bush. I have seen several of these movies many times, but I can not give you exact details of the film itself.
Here are “9 Stoner Movies to Watch During the Month of 4/20":”
1. Dazed and Confused
Dazed and Confused is a must watch movie. It just happens to be a stoner film. It’s your basic teen party movie, but it’s so much more at the same time. Set in the 70’s, the film gives a unique look on what it might have been like to be a high-school student during that time. If you haven’t seen this, it’d be a lot cooler if you did. :)
2. Mac and Devin Go to High School
I have personally watched this movie at least 6 times, and I can honestly only give you information that I remember. Starring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, Mac and Devin are two high school students at N. Hale High School. Beyond that, I can only tell you limited information. Devin (Wiz Khalifa) gets his whole body tattooed in what seems like seconds, Mac (Snoop Dogg) is like a 15-year senior at the high school, and there’s a joint that periodically talks to you (the audience) giving it that real stoner film vibe.
3. Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Bill and Ted are two best friends who are not exactly passing their history class. Threatened with military school for Ted, they both have to have a passing grade on their history report. What they don’t know is that they are so important, someone from the future comes with a time machine to help them pass their class. They end up going from time period to time period, witnessing literal parts of history and befriending important historical figures. I never said this was a great film, but it is a great movie.
4. Limitless
If we could access 100% of our brains at the same time, what would that feel like? This film explores that question while providing crazy visuals in the opening scene and throughout the movie. Basically, Bradley Cooper takes a pill that unlocks your brain and uses it to his advantage. It’s a good movie to watch and the visuals really tickle your brain, if you know what I mean.
5. Pineapple Express
This is your ultimate stoner movie. Seth Rogen and James Franco team up as dealer and buyer while crooked cops are after them. Outrageous hilarity ensues when they have to go on the run and have no plan; because who really has a plan for that anyway? This movie has tons of action and comedy and your stomach will be sore from laughing.
6. Half Baked
While on a munchie run, Kenny gives a police horse some snacks. Little did he know that the horse is diabetic, he’s about to be arrested, and the bond is $1 million. Now Kenny’s friends have to figure out a way to get him out of jail. Thurgood (Dave Chappelle) is able to obtain some prime bud from the research facility that he works at, the group hoping they can use that to raise some money for Kenny. What follows is plenty of cameos, tons of weed content, and an ending I can never remember.
7. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Jay and Silent Bob are back. This time they’re trying to get to Hollywood because they’re making a movie out of their likeness. With names like Bluntman and Chronic, you know what kind of movie this is going to be.
8. Up in Smoke
Cheech and Chong struck comedy gold with this one. When two stoners meet by chance and smoke up, they have to get more bud. Somehow, they end up being deported to Mexico and have to find their way back. This movie includes a car that is entirely made from weed just so you know what kind of movie this is.
9. Superbad
This movie has tons of comedians making for a hilarious conversation no matter what part of the movie you're watching . Seth and Evan are two co-dependent best friends in the last weeks of high school. Joined by their 3rd “friend” Fogel, they’re on a mission to get alcohol for a big party. This is basically a movie about sex-fueled teenagers trying to find alcohol for the party, find someone to have sex with, and trying to figure out what exactly it is they’re doing after high school. Knowing all of this information, it is one of the funnier films out there.
