Arizona’s Best Summer Destinations for Stoners
As the temperatures hit triple digits, Arizonans look for ways to escape the blistering heat that engulfs the state during summer. As a fellow stoner, this is one of the worst times and best times of the year. Naturally people like to smoke outside to enjoy nature but with the heat making it almost unbearable to be outside, it’s time to get creative. From desert escapes to cool mountainous getaways, Arizona has a natural beauty that cater to different preferences. In this guide, we will explore some of the best Arizona summer destinations that work both as a vacation and a kush-cation. Let’s take a look at the places we love to visit and bring our stash with (as if we don’t already bring it everywhere).
Sedona
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Red Rock Country of Arizona, Sedona is a year-round destination famous for its stunning natural scenery, diverse art shops, and spiritual vibes (many spiritual people that most likely partake in the ingestion of the beautiful flower). With its cooler high-altitude climate and plenty of water activities, summer might just be the perfect time for a visit with your friends. From hiking trails and swimming in Oak Creek Canyon, there is a spot for everyone who wants to relax while not having to worry about the summer being too hot. Start your morning with a beautiful hike through the Red Rocks, a perfect workout and beautiful scenery. Afterwards, enjoy a meal at the local restaurants while enjoying a magnificent view. Then spend the rest of your day swimming through Oak Creek Canyon or Slide Rock that is not too far up the beautiful scenic route towards Flagstaff.

Flagstaff
Flagstaff is the ultimate Arizona summer destination, known for its breathtaking mountains, pine forests, and recreational opportunities scattered throughout the Coconino National Forest. When you are in this little mountain town, you are likely to run into many fellow weed connoisseurs. Visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and camping in the picturesque San Francisco Peaks or beat the heat with a cool dip in natural freshwater swimming holes such as Lava River Cave or Slide Rock State Park. Flagstaff is much cooler than other places in Arizona, offering 4 full seasons throughout the year. Enjoy a beautiful camping trip up in Lockett Meadow and enjoy the beautiful full sight of the nightime stars, which is one of my favorite places to light up a nice joint. Be careful with nature around you, do not want to start a forest fire! Bonus, Flagstaff is well known for its discovery of dwarf planet Pluto!

Grand Canyon
One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon hardly needs an introduction. Summer is peak season at the park, but with some smart planning, visitors can avoid the crowds and still enjoy the breathtaking views of the canyon, especially at sunrise or sunset. Hiking, camping, and rafting are among the popular ways to experience the canyon's stunning beauty and immerse yourself in nature. Assuming you have your designated driver, it is always nice to come to the Grand Canyon just a little bit stoned, imagine staring into the giant canyon while feeling relaxed and stress-free.

Tucson
Tucson is a summer destination that has something for everyone. Loved for its desert landscapes, museums, and cultural arts, Tucson’s top-rated attractions include Saguaro National Park, Pima Air & Space Museum, and the Tucson Botanical Gardens. You can also take a horseback ride in the mountains, go rock climbing, or discover the city’s vibrant food scene. Wherever you decide to explore in this beautiful town, make sure you find yourself a cool spot to enjoy your marijuana.
