Leading the Path in CBD Skin Care: Eossi Beauty, Founded by Shannon Kaygi

Eossi Beauty is a plant-based CBD skin care company that takes pride in its high-dosed CBD skin care products. Founded by Shannon Kaygi, their mission in the cannabis industry is to create skincare products that are not only good for your skin but also good for the earth. “I am very passionate about educating consumers about all things cannabis,” shares Shannon. 

One of Eossi Beauty’s most popular products is the Facial Glow Oil, which was born out of Shannon’s love for Argan oil and states “natural oils, specifically Argan Oil, which is known as liquid gold in Morocco, was the only thing that could soothe my dry skin.” With a history of dry skin, Shannon wanted to create a product that combined CBD with Argan oil. After working with a helpful formulator and testing up to 12 variations, they found the perfect formulation in their 8th variation. And thus, their best-selling Facial Glow Oil was born.

When it comes to Shannon’s team, Eossi Beauty has help from amazing individuals in various areas. “I have had the help of some really amazing people to create this brand including graphics, formulators, packaging, manufacturing, social media and photography to name a few. I am still early in building the brand so I do a lot of work myself, and then I work with a lot of contractors. I end up building long term relationships with my contractors and working with them on multiple projects, which is cool. They know me and the brand and help me continue to evolve my story telling. I have built a community of support as a one woman show and it really has been a beautiful journey...with a lot of ups and downs of course.” says Shannon.

A couple key individuals are Mariana who works with the company and has helped get this feature in LOUD  blog! “She actually reached out to LOUD about me. She is very sweet and easy to work with and very supportive. She also is very open to feedback which makes our relationship easier because we can both be honest with one another about our needs. She has been heading our wholesale efforts which have been growing this year.” And Shannon's lawyer, David. “He has been with me for a minute now and has worked with me on multiple companies. He always has my back and I feel very protected with my contracts and paperwork, which can be tough in this industry.” Says Shannon.

In terms of upcoming projects, Eossi Beauty has been involved in a pilot program to advertise CBD openly on platforms where it was traditionally restricted. This is an exciting opportunity that could make your brand more easily discoverable through a Google search. “I am still going through the process but I am hoping soon that if you google me, you may be able to find me a lot quicker” says Shannon. And what sets her brand apart from others is the higher doses of CBD in your products compared to most on the market. They also prioritize clean, plant-based ingredients and offer a luxurious experience at an affordable price. Education is a key focus for Shannon and wants others to be educated on hemp derived ingredients. “As an owner, I spend a lot of time at events talking to customers and getting feedback and answering questions that I may not have known someone had, which has really helped me to evolve the brand,” says Shannon.
